Members of the BCCCS are able to access a wide variety of cannabis and cannabis products. At least eight strains of high-quality cannabis or hash are offered daily, typically with at least half of these being organically-grown. Prices are kept as low as possible so the medicine remains affordable, generally between $8-$9/gram.

The BCCCS has several programs to offer cannabis below cost to low or fixed-income membership. In 2008, we provided approximately 15,000 grams of low-cost medicine to over 800 of our members through our Specials, Small Buds and Donations programs. Donations of cannabis given to the BCCCS by compassionate cultivators are passed on to members at no charge.

In addition, the daily menu offers non-smoking options such as cannabis-infused butter and olive oil, tinctures and sprays, and a variety of baked goods – including wheat-free, vegan and sugar-free options.

The BCCCS also carries a variety of effective vapourizers--which heat up cannabis to a temperature where the active ingredients are released while avoiding the harmful byproducts of combustion and smoking--available to members at below regular retail prices.

Members can also purchase glass pipes, bongs and bubblers; hemp, rice and other 'tree-free' rolling papers; as well as quality grinders, and other implements needed for using cannabis safely and effectively. These are offered to BCCCS members at a discounted rate below regular retail prices.
